Question 1

Do you accept insurance?

Accepted Answer

The practice operates outside insurance for the physician-time component of your care, which is what makes longer visits, deeper evaluation, and direct access possible. You can and should use your insurance for labs, imaging, medications, and procedures or surgeries. The practice provides a superbill on request for any services that may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement.

Question 2

What if I join a membership and decide it's not for me?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel your membership with thirty days' written notice. Pro-rated refunds are available for unused months on annual plans, minus a small cancellation fee. The full terms are outlined in the membership agreement, which you review and sign before joining.

Question 3

What happens if I miss a payment?

Accepted Answer

You have a fifteen-day grace period to bring your membership current. If your annual payment is on an installment plan and you default, the membership reverts to monthly month-to-month at the standard rate until the balance is resolved. Full terms are in the membership agreement.

Question 4

Can I rejoin a membership if I leave?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A rejoining fee of $500 to $1,000 applies.

Question 5

Is there a waitlist for membership?

Accepted Answer

The practice is intentionally small to protect quality of care. When the panel is full, new memberships are offered from a waitlist as spots become available. Discovery Calls and Initial Consultations remain available regardless of waitlist status.

Question 6

Are medications and labs included in membership?

Accepted Answer

If you have insurance, prescriptions are still covered according to your insurance plan. If you don't have insurance, the practice helps you find the best price for your medications. Labs and imaging are not included in membership but are provided at discounted cash prices, which are dramatically cheaper than rates healthcare systems negotiate with insurance.

Question 7

What is a Discovery Call?

Accepted Answer

A complimentary fifteen-minute introductory call with Dr. Christy Evans to align on your goals, answer questions about how the practice works, and confirm that you are a good fit. No clinical advice is given on this call; its purpose is to help you decide whether to take the next step.

Question 8

What is a Comprehensive Consultation?

Accepted Answer

A 60 to 90 minute visit with Dr. Evans reviewing your history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. You leave with a written road map and a clear recommendation for next steps. The Comprehensive Consultation fee is credited in full toward membership if you join within thirty days.

Question 9

What is the difference between the Signature and Whole Health memberships?

Accepted Answer

The Signature Membership is the flagship membership covering the full arc of gynecologic, hormonal, and preventive health with unlimited visits and direct access to Dr. Evans. The Whole Health Membership includes everything in Signature plus a full functional medicine workup at the start of membership, advanced labs, and an integrated treatment plan, designed for women navigating complex issues like perimenopause, persistent fatigue, PMDD, or recurrent gut or vaginal issues.
